Crypto.com Predictions is worth considering if you want sports and non-sports event trading alongside an existing Crypto.com account. You can fund it with dollars without buying cryptocurrency. Its useful features include buy and sell limit orders, player markets and sports Combos; funding charges and withdrawal holds deserve just as much attention.
Start with Book vs Market to compare available prices for your exact pick and stake. This review covers the consumer Crypto.com App/Web product, using current rules and specific customer reports. The separate Exchange product, Predict Pro, has its own account setup and terms.
What should you know before joining Crypto.com Predictions?
These six answers cover the operator, market selection, actual cost, early exits, settlement and access to your money.
Is this a regulated prediction-market product?
Yes. The contracts trade on Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, also known as Nadex, a CFTC-regulated exchange. Nadex says member deposits are separated from its operating money. That protection does not insure a losing trade. Bank-deposit insurance advertised elsewhere in the App does not cover prediction contracts.
Does it offer more than crypto-price predictions?
Yes: sports winners, spreads, totals, player selections and Combos, plus political, economic, financial and cultural events. The consumer App excludes New York. Other location and contract restrictions apply, so use the actual Predict market listing to establish access to the selection you want.
How much does a sports purchase cost?
100 contracts bought at 50¢ with an immediately matched order cost $51.75, including $1.75 in fees. A normal $100 winning settlement leaves $48.25 profit.
Can you sell before the result?
Yes, through an available market sale or sell limit. Limits can remain pending or fill partly; an exit still needs buyers.
Who decides whether you win?
The exchange applies the contract’s named result source and settlement rules. A normal correct $1 contract pays $1; an incorrect one pays $0. A canceled sports event can settle at a value below your purchase price, rather than returning the original stake.
How quickly can you withdraw?
Free ACH and paid Real-Time Payment withdrawals are available. RTP sends through a compatible bank network in seconds, but that does not bypass account checks or funding holds. Instant Deposit has a published seven-business-day withdrawal restriction. The current App ACH guide gives no fixed delivery estimate.
Is Crypto.com Predictions worth opening an account with?
The answer is different for different traders. Yes if you already use the app for crypto. Event trading alongside your existing account brings a level of convenience we found valuable. For a new customer interested only in pregame sports singles, a provider with no entry fee deserves comparison first. Crypto.com Market’s strongest case is the combination of event selection, limit orders and funding options.
Do not open a new Crypto.com account just for pregame singles. For that purpose, we recommend NoVig. Its fee-free pregame singles are a more useful advantage than Crypto.com’s additional account setup and optional paid funding routes. The crypto-trading welcome bonus doesn’t reward prediction trades in any meaningful way.
Where does Crypto.com win or lose on price?
The answer changes with the market and the way your order executes. These hypothetical comparisons hold price and quantity constant to isolate fees. They are not simultaneous live quotes, and they exclude deposit, conversion and withdrawal costs.
| Feature | Providers | Our assessment |
|---|---|---|
| Pregame sports singles | NoVig charges no trading fee on pregame individual-game singles. At an identical executable price, that beats a charged Crypto.com purchase. Live, futures and parlay treatment differs. Check NoVig’s markets. | |
| Resting orders | Kalshi’s default maker fee is zero, with market-specific exceptions. Crypto.com’s eligible maker fills still carry a charge. Check the market’s fee treatment and whether your order rests before it fills. Compare Kalshi directly. | |
| Lower-priced sports contracts | For 100 sports contracts at 10¢, Crypto.com’s taker fee is $0.63, compared with $1.60 at Fanatics Markets. The lower fee helps only if the contract price and available quantity also suit you. Check Fanatics Markets. |
What is the consumer App and Web experience like?
The Predict area brings event selection and position management into the wider Crypto.com account. September’s redesign added event volume, order-book depth, player statistics and an upfront payout multiplier after entering an amount. Those details make the screen more useful for assessing an order. They are documented features; we have not measured the App’s speed or responsiveness ourselves.
Only if you want its separate Exchange workflow and tools. Pro requires additional broker/FCM onboarding and supports Post-Only orders that cancel if they would immediately execute as takers. Its fees and funding arrangements differ. The calculations and banking details below apply to consumer App/Web Predict.
Who can open an account, and what verification is required?
The US App/Web terms require customers to be at least 18. After ordinary account verification, set up the USD Account and activate prediction trading by accepting the CDNA terms. Crypto.com sends confirmation when approved. Having an App login alone does not complete that trading approval.
Where are the access restrictions?
New York is excluded from the consumer App. The general App state list covers the wider service, while prediction contracts have their own jurisdictional limits. Check the intended event through Predict before funding. OG’s separate consumer offering and Predict Pro do not establish access through this account. See our state guide for the wider comparison.
Which documents and details do you need?
Your legal name, government ID and a selfie for App verification. The US KYC guide specifies a state-issued driver’s license or ID. USD Account setup separately asks for your Social Security number and residential address, with proof of address if requested. Submit identity documents through the designated verification flow.
What do actual customers report?
The most useful recent reports concern bank linking after sports trading and a disputed Bitcoin-price settlement. The accessible prediction-specific sample is small. It does not establish a normal payout time, a settlement-error rate or the quality of liquidity across markets.
General Crypto.com app reviews also cover token trading, cards and other services. Both reports below remain individual customer accounts rather than independently audited transactions.
Was the bank-linking complaint resolved?
The customer reported that matching the legal names solved the linking problem. A June 27, 2026 Reddit post described banks repeatedly failing to link after sports trading. A July 2 update says adding the missing middle name to the bank’s record fixed it. The thread does not confirm a completed withdrawal or its arrival time.
Did the Bitcoin complaint establish a wrong settlement?
No. The thread lacks the complete contracts and a confirmed resolution. In September 2026, Disastrous-Plane1120 disputed two Crypto.com Bitcoin-price outcomes after comparing them with an app chart. Other commenters questioned the observation time and reference price. The exact contract subtype is not established by the screenshot, so the account cannot prove that Predict settled incorrectly.
How do orders and early exits actually behave?
Pending orders can reduce what remains available for your next trade.
Why can a pending order affect your next trade?
Buy limits reserve cash; sell limits reserve contracts for the intended exit. If you hold 100 contracts and already have a sell limit for 90, only 10 remain available for another market close. Unfilled limit quantities stay pending. To change an order’s price or quantity, cancel it and place a replacement.
What happens when a market price moves?
Market orders can fill partly; the remainder cancels. Default slippage is adjustable: 5¢ per contract, or $5 across 100 before fees. Live sports orders normally wait three seconds before entering the order book.
Markets, settlement and the real cost
Which markets make the account useful?
The consumer catalogue combines sports with politics, economics, financials and culture. The following features give it uses beyond a simple team-to-win selection.
Which sports selections are available?
Winners, spreads, totals and player-performance markets. Crypto.com’s consumer guide includes NFL, NBA and Premier League examples. The market question defines the line and period. Player pages add statistics and recent form, giving you information alongside the contract rather than requiring a separate screen for every check.
What can you combine in the App?
Two to eight eligible sports picks, including pregame and live selections. Futures are excluded from this Combo format. The builder determines compatible picks. You can request an early close if a price is available; an expired quote or insufficient liquidity can leave no usable sale price.
Are there actual election markets?
Yes. The consumer Web catalogue includes a 2026 Pennsylvania governor-election market with party-based outcomes. Its rules identify the result sources and treatment of a runoff. That is a concrete example of the political offering, with a different settlement framework from an ordinary sports winner.
What else is in the non-sports catalogue?
Economic releases, financial outcomes and cultural events. The product also supports crypto, currency, commodity and index-price contracts. For a timed price event, the reference source and observation time are central to the outcome. The separate pricing categories also affect the trading charge, as explained below.
Which settlement rules can change your payout?
Each contract’s specified source and conditions control the result. Sports cancellations, player-stat corrections and election interruptions do not all receive the same treatment. These are the differences that matter to the money credited.
Does a canceled sports event refund the stake?
No. Published sports rules use volume-weighted trading prices, with a fair-value fallback. The result can be below or above your entry price. For example, 100 contracts bought at 65¢ and settled at an illustrative 40¢ return $40 on the contracts, against $65 spent. The policy separately refunds canceled-event trading fees.
What happens to a canceled Combo leg?
The leg keeps its own settlement value, which is multiplied by the other legs’ values. If the values are 0.40, 1 and 1, 100 Combo contracts return $40. The 0.40 is illustrative. One losing leg makes the whole Combo lose; otherwise it remains open until the remaining legs resolve.
Can a later player-stat correction change settlement?
The linked player-contract specification fixes the result using the designated source’s final value. It says a later amendment by that source does not change the settlement value. A delayed official statistic can delay settlement. This differs from the exchange correcting its own processing error.
What if an election does not happen?
The listed Pennsylvania governor contract says its corresponding contracts resolve “No” if that election is not held. Its winner definition also includes any runoff. These are rules for that specific market; its cancellation treatment is different from sports VWAP settlement. Read the actual outcome wording for other political events.
The App guide’s four-way tie example uses a 25¢ leg value. That value enters the final multiplication. Our markets vs sportsbooks guide explains the parlay comparison.
What do buying and selling cost after fees?
Sports/prediction singles: taker fee = 0.07 × quantity × price × (1 − price), with price in dollars. Maker fees are one-quarter of that. Combos use taker pricing.
Selling those 100 contracts at 60¢ returns $58.32 after $1.68 fees: $6.57 profit.
Is a limit order automatically cheaper?
No. A limit that matches immediately pays taker fees.
Which markets have a flat charge?
Crypto, FX, commodity and index trades cost 2¢ per contract. Normal App settlement fees are waived.
Check your return with Book vs Market
Find the event, select the exact outcome and compare available providers for the same stake. Then check Crypto.com’s complete order against those prices. Include the trading charge and keep any funding or withdrawal cost in your calculation. Match the line, period and settlement terms for a useful comparison.
Funding, withdrawals and account help
Does the advertised welcome bonus reward prediction trades?
The published up-to-$180 App welcome program rewards eligible cryptocurrency trading. Prediction contracts do not qualify.
The current program uses randomized rewards. The maximum total is not guaranteed, and the offer version attached to your account governs.
Can you combine welcome and referral rewards?
No. Registering with a referral code excludes the welcome program. Eligible customers are enrolled after KYC approval. Phone-country and ID-country requirements also apply; the trading milestones exclude stablecoin pairs.
How long do you have to qualify and claim?
Reach the milestones within 30 days of registration and open the earned boxes by day 37. Rewards are credited after opening the boxes. Unclaimed boxes expire at the end of that claim window.
The four cumulative crypto-trading milestones
What does $100 of qualifying volume unlock?
A reward of up to $10. This is eligible token-trading volume; depositing $100 alone does not qualify.
What does $500 of qualifying volume unlock?
A reward of up to $20. The threshold is cumulative, including volume counted toward the first milestone.
What does $1,000 of qualifying volume unlock?
A reward of up to $50. Reaching the milestone does not guarantee the maximum reward.
What does $5,000 of qualifying volume unlock?
A reward of up to $100. The four maximum awards total $180 before trading costs.
How do deposits and withdrawals work?
The consumer product uses a USD cash account. Optional Crypto Funding converts supported coins to dollars at the quoted rate; its dedicated guide excludes Louisiana. For US taxes, selling personally held crypto for dollars realizes a capital gain or loss, so retain the conversion record separately from the prediction trade.
What is the cheapest standard deposit route?
An ACH transfer from your own bank: $1 minimum and no Crypto.com deposit fee. Initiate it using the personal account and routing details shown in the App. Use the dedicated PayPal or Venmo option for those services; they are separate funding methods.
What do debit cards and mobile wallets cost?
USD top-ups by debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay cost 1.49%, with a $10 minimum. That is $1.49 on a $100 top-up before any issuer charge. These are USD-funding fees, separate from contract-trading charges.
Can you deposit through PayPal or Venmo?
Yes. Each dedicated USD deposit route charges 1.99% and has a $10 minimum. A $100 deposit carries a $1.99 charge. Their deposit availability does not establish a withdrawal back to the same payment service; the documented dollar cash-out routes below use a bank.
What is the catch with Instant Deposit?
You can receive trading access before the bank transfer settles, but withdrawals are restricted for seven business days. Pending funds also have a separate derivatives-trading limit, which can be below the pending balance. Settled cash is treated differently. An early sale does not by itself clear the deposit hold.
Choosing how to send dollars back to your bank
What are the ACH withdrawal requirements?
A same-name bank account linked through Plaid and a $1 minimum withdrawal. Crypto.com charges no ACH withdrawal fee. Standard daily limits are $100,000 and five withdrawals. Your bank can charge separately. The name must match your verified account details, including any required middle name.
What does the faster RTP route cost?
1.5% for standard customers or 1.25% for Prime, with a $1 minimum. A standard $1,000 transfer carries a $15 fee. Your bank must support RTP, whose network runs around the clock, including weekends. It still requires funds that are available to withdraw.
How do you get help with an account, trade or payment?
Crypto.com advertises 24/7 live customer support through its App and web chat. In the App, use Settings → Support → Contact Support. Identify the product as consumer App/Web Predict, because Exchange Predict Pro has a separate account workflow. Published support availability is not a measured response-time promise.
What helps with a disputed event result?
The contract name, observation time, designated source, order ID and credited settlement. A general asset-price chart does not contain all that information. Ask support to identify the rule and reference value used for your particular contract, and retain the transaction record alongside the reply.
When should you follow up on verification?
The KYC guide directs you to in-app support after three business days without a status change. Use the designated upload flow for requested documents. Also identify whether the delay concerns general App verification, USD Account setup or prediction-trading approval; these are separate steps.
Which login protections are available?
Passkeys and multi-factor authentication. These are useful when the same login controls prediction funds and other assets. Set them up through the account’s security controls.
Can you close only this part of the account?
The published full-account closure process closes App/Web, Visa Card and Exchange accounts together. Withdraw available funds and export transaction history first; closure removes access to that history and the old account cannot be reactivated. If you want to stop only event trading while retaining other services, ask support about that narrower request.
Which alternatives deserve a place on your shortlist?
NoVig provides a clear comparison for pregame sports singles; Kalshi provides a dedicated event-trading alternative. Use Book vs Market to compare the available return on your selection. Then judge the account on the fees and features you expect to use regularly.
NoVig
Consider it for pregame individual-game singles without a trading fee. That is a direct advantage for frequent singles at matching prices. Live trades, futures and parlays have separate treatment. Our review covers the account requirements and where those charges apply.
Kalshi
Consider it if you want an account centered on event contracts and different maker-fee treatment. Its default fee policy can favor resting orders, with market-specific exceptions. Compare the particular event and available quantity; the lower fee does not establish a better executable price.
Should you open a Crypto.com Predictions account?
Crypto.com earns a place on the shortlist for its event range, limit orders and choice of dollar or crypto funding. Existing App customers have the clearest convenience advantage. New customers should weigh that against the extra account setup and payment costs. The specific customer reports make bank-name matching and settlement references worth attention, while leaving typical payout and execution performance unproven.
Use Book vs Market for the available prices, then check the Crypto.com order total and your funding route. Keep the consumer App calculations separate from Predict Pro, and value any crypto-trading promotion only against activity that actually qualifies.

Crypto.com Predictions FAQs
Six final answers to common US account and trading questions.
Do you need cryptocurrency or CRO to use Predict?
No. You can fund the USD Account through supported dollar methods. Crypto Funding is optional and converts supported coins to dollars. Neither a CRO purchase nor a crypto transfer is required for ordinary dollar-funded prediction trading.
Can New York residents use this consumer App?
No. New York is excluded by the current App availability rules. Access through a different Crypto.com-related service, including OG, does not establish access through consumer App/Web Predict.
Does the App support 20-leg Combos?
No. The consumer App guide allows up to eight eligible sports legs. The separate Predict Pro guide allows two to twenty. Its larger limit comes with a different Exchange account workflow.
Why can’t you market-sell the whole position?
An existing sell limit can reserve part of your holding. Check pending closing orders and cancel any unfilled order you intend to replace. A sale still requires available buyers.
Does a canceled sports event guarantee your stake back?
No. Cancellation can return less than your purchase price, even though trading fees are refunded.
Does RTP remove the Instant Deposit withdrawal hold?
No. A faster payment network does not release pending funds. RTP applies once the dollars are available to withdraw. The Instant Deposit restriction and account checks remain separate from bank delivery speed.
