NoVig is worth comparing for pregame sports singles. Pregame individual-game straight trades have no trading fee, and customers praise the prices on offer. The drawbacks in recent user reports concern live execution, limited exit opportunities and delays getting money out.
Start with Book vs Market: compare available sportsbook and prediction-market prices for your exact pick and stake. Then check NoVig’s final quote. This review explains the costs, restrictions and customer experiences that should decide whether you open an account.
What should you know before joining NoVig?
These are the six questions that matter before you deposit. The details below distinguish NoVig’s published rules from what customers report in practice.
Is NoVig a legitimate operator?
Yes. Its operator, Ludlow Exchange, LLC, is a CFTC-designated exchange. The current product uses US dollars and requires customers to be 21+. Users report successful payouts, alongside complaints about delays. Regulation establishes oversight; it does not establish that every withdrawal will be quick.
Does it have the bets I want?
NoVig focuses on sports: game winners, spreads, totals, player props, futures and parlays, with pregame and live trading. Its menu includes major US team sports, golf, tennis and MMA. For politics or economic events, choose a broader prediction-market provider.
What does a trade actually cost?
A pregame game single has no trading fee. Buying 100 contracts at 50¢ costs $50 and pays $100 on a normal win: $50 profit. A live taker purchase at the same price costs $51.50 after its $1.50 fee. Card deposit charges add another cost.
Can I get out before the result?
Only eligible cash-funded straight positions have an early Sell option, and a live offer must be available. Parlays and Trade Credit positions cannot be sold. An exit pays the available market value, so it can return less than you spent.
How and when does it settle?
Official sporting results and the contract rules decide the payout. NoVig publishes typical settlement within 30 minutes, with up to an hour for Portfolio to update. Disrupted contracts governed by Fair Value Settlement pay an assessed value; your original stake is not automatically returned.
How do I get my money back?
Withdraw eligible cash to a bank account, debit card or Venmo; the minimum is $10. Open positions, promotional credits and uncleared deposits are not withdrawable cash. NoVig says manual review usually takes 24 hours, extending to 48 in busy periods; payment-provider processing follows. Customer reports include quick payments and waits lasting days.
Is NoVig worth opening an account with?
Yes, as an additional account for comparing pregame sports prices. Recent discussions praise particular spreads and props, while disagreeing about available trading volume. Combined with the fee structure, that makes NoVig a useful place to check before placing a single. Our assessment is based on current terms and customer reports.
How does NoVig compare with its alternatives?
Its clearest advantage is the absence of a pregame trading fee. Its clearest limitations are parlay exits and its sports-only focus. The fee example assumes identical entry prices and quantities; it is a calculation, not a comparison of live quotes.
| Feature | Providers | Our assessment |
|---|---|---|
| Pregame trading fees | For 100 standard sports contracts at 50¢, NoVig charges $0 on an individual-game pregame single. Polymarket US charges a $1.74 standard taker fee before rebates. Compare the actual quote too: a worse purchase price can erase NoVig’s fee advantage. | |
| Parlay cash out | NoVig does not sell parlays early. FanDuel Sportsbook offers Cash Out on eligible tickets, including eligible parlays, subject to availability. If that option matters to you, compare FanDuel Sportsbook in a state where you can use it. | |
| Events beyond sports | Kalshi has the broader event catalogue. Alongside sports, it lists politics, economics, weather and other categories. NoVig’s specialization suits a sports bettor; Kalshi is the more relevant comparison for someone trading elections or economic releases. |
How do you find your way around the app?
The key controls are Take, Make and Portfolio. Take accepts an available price; Make posts an allowed price for another participant to match. Portfolio holds your positions. One recent iPhone reviewer described a short learning curve but wanted open positions easier to reach. That is a useful distinction between placing a trade and managing it afterward.
It means paying 50¢ for each $1 of potential winning settlement, before applicable fees. Read the final price, quantity and payout together. A percentage on the event screen is not a promise that your entire order will execute there.
Who runs NoVig, and can you use it?
Ludlow Exchange, LLC operates NoVig; Bitnomial Clearinghouse handles clearing. The CFTC designated Ludlow on June 16, 2026, and the regulated exchange launched August 4. The old sweepstakes currencies have been retired. Its member agreement permits affiliated market makers, so the other side of a trade is not necessarily an independent recreational bettor.
Which states are excluded?
NoVig’s published access policy excludes Arizona, Michigan and Nevada. It checks physical location. In those states, existing positions still settle, but new orders, deposits and withdrawals are blocked. This is the operator’s access list, not a legal ruling for every other state. Read our availability guide and state guide.
What do you need to verify?
Your legal name, birth date, address, phone number and last four SSN digits. If photo ID is requested, use a matching US driver’s license or state ID. NoVig states that it has no manual review route after a failed automated check. Complete verification before depositing for a particular event.
What do customers like, and what frustrates them?
Prices draw praise; execution and payment communication draw complaints. Recent iPhone reviews describe attractive prices and quick debit withdrawals. Forum discussions describe smaller markets with little activity, unexpected live fills and inconsistent answers about delayed payments.
Those reports support a specific use for NoVig: compare a pregame selection, check the amount available and decide whether its final return beats your alternatives. They do not justify a blanket claim that it is the best place for every sports bet.
Who is it a good fit for?
A bettor shopping for pregame singles who is prepared to check the fill. You get the most practical use from another price to compare and the option to leave an order waiting at your chosen level. Bank funding also avoids the card deposit charge.
Who should choose another account?
Someone who needs a parlay cash-out option or a dependable immediate exit. NoVig’s Sell restrictions and variable activity make those poor reasons to join. Its sports focus also leaves elections and economic releases to broader platforms.
How do you avoid paying more than you intended?
Check the final ticket and use Make when you want to specify the price. A recent live-trading thread describes a sharply changed execution price; other participants also raised partial-fill concerns. The published order controls matter more than the first quote you see.
What happens to a Make order?
You choose an accepted price increment and wait for a match. No match means no position. A pregame order expires at its timer or when the event becomes live, whichever comes first. A live order expires at its timer or game end. Check matched and remaining amounts separately.
Is there enough money on the other side?
Judge the quantity available for your exact selection. Customers in a sports-comparison thread reported different experiences on major games and smaller markets. A good price for a small amount does not establish that a larger order will fill at that price, or that an exit offer will remain available.
Markets, settlement and the real cost
Which sports and bet types are available?
The menu covers game lines, player props and season outcomes across major sports. The following examples come from NoVig’s current market guide; individual events still need an active market and a usable quote.
Football: more than game winners
Pro and college football include spreads, totals, team totals, player props and first-half markets, plus championship and award futures.
Baseball: innings and player statistics
MLB includes first-five-inning markets and first-inning run selections, alongside game lines, home runs, total bases and pitcher strikeouts.
Basketball and hockey: games and props
Basketball includes points, rebounds, assists, threes and combined statistics. NHL coverage includes winners, puck lines, totals and player goals or assists.
Golf, tennis and MMA
Golf includes winners, top finishes and pregame matchups. Tennis includes match lines and pregame set markets. MMA includes winners, round totals and whether the fight goes the distance.
What happens when you sell, win or have an event canceled?
A normal winning contract pays $1 and a losing contract pays $0. Early selling and disrupted-event settlement use different calculations. Read the actual contract wording, particularly for player participation and canceled events.
How do you sell a straight position?
Open Portfolio → position → Sell, inspect the offer and confirm. NoVig closes the exposure through an opposing trade and credits the completed sale to your wallet. If there is no Sell offer, there is no available exit through that feature.
Which result controls settlement?
The official league or governing-body result controls. The score shown in the app does not override the contract. NoVig’s published policy also says a later official statistical correction does not regrade an already settled trade.
Does a canceled selection return your stake?
Not automatically. Under Fair Value Settlement, a disrupted contract closes at an assessed value before the disruption. For 100 contracts bought at 55¢, settlement at 45¢ returns $45 against a $55 purchase: a $10 loss before fees.
What happens to a voided parlay leg?
A leg settled at fair value stays in the payout calculation. If its value is 0.50 and every other leg wins, a parlay with a $100 full payout returns $50. A losing leg still reduces the parlay’s payout to zero.
Check the exit rules before accepting a parlay. In one recent dispute, the customer’s unrelated cash was eventually released, but the accepted parlay remained open. Treat the final quote as a commitment through settlement; dissatisfaction with the price does not create an early cash-out option.
What are the fees after you enter and exit?
Pregame game singles are free to trade; live taker trades and many futures are not. The live charge is 0.06 × P × (1 − P) × N, where P is the decimal price and N is the number of contracts paying $1 each on a win. Resting maker fills have no trading fee.
Consider 100 live contracts bought at 50¢: $50 plus $1.50 to enter. If all are then sold at a 60¢ valuation, the offsetting live trade costs $1.44. You receive $58.56 and make $7.06 after both trading fees. This hypothetical calculation assumes full execution at those prices and excludes deposit charges. Merely seeing the quote rise does not establish an available exit.
Do futures cost the same as pregame singles?
No. NFL, college football, MLB, NBA, WNBA and NHL season futures use the 0.06 taker coefficient, including before the season. The current schedule exempts specified other futures and series-winner markets. Check the event’s fee classification rather than treating every future as a free pregame trade.
Do you add the parlay fee again?
No. The consumer parlay quote already includes it. The published price-dependent formula uses a 0.10 coefficient. Compare the displayed final payout without adding that same charge twice. A limit order that immediately takes an existing offer also does not automatically qualify for maker pricing.
Check your pick with Book vs Market
Search your event, choose your providers and compare potential returns for the same pick and stake. Use the available quotes to challenge NoVig’s final price, then confirm fees, quantity and settlement terms on the provider’s order screen.
Funding, withdrawals and account help
What is the current new-customer offer?
Deposit at least $10 and receive five $10 Trade Credits, totaling $50. The published new-member program applies to verified, eligible customers who have not already traded. Terms checked October 28, 2026. Confirm the offer in your account before making the qualifying deposit.
The credits fund trades; they are not a withdrawable $50 cash gift. The restrictions below determine their usefulness, so give the offer less weight than the price and the account’s withdrawal arrangements.
Which prices qualify?
1¢ to 60¢. Stronger favorites are outside the offer’s range. Use one credit per trade; an unused remainder is forfeited.
When do the credits expire?
30 calendar days after issue. Check the expiry shown on each credit before choosing an event.
What else should you check?
Can you use Make?
No. Trade Credits use Take orders. They cannot fund a resting Make order or be mixed with cash to fund the same trade.
Can you sell a credit-funded position?
No. It must settle. The promotion does not provide the flexibility of an eligible cash-funded straight position.
Can you withdraw the proceeds?
Yes, settled proceeds from this new-member offer become ordinary cash, with no extra trading-volume requirement. Normal account and payment checks still apply.
Can you stack other promotions?
This program cannot be combined with other promotions. Referral rewards and special campaigns have separate terms; do not apply this offer’s rules to them.
Are withdrawals reliable, and what will funding cost?
Customers report successful payments, but the evidence does not support promising instant withdrawals. Recent iPhone reviewers describe fast debit payments. A September BBB complaint about a delayed withdrawal received an apology from NoVig; its status was “Answered,” without proof on the page of final payment. Forum replies also describe both rapid payouts and waits lasting days.
Bank transfer: what is the catch?
NoVig charges no bank deposit fee. ACH funds must return to their originating bank account during the first 90 days. That is a destination restriction, not a blanket 90-day hold. Deposit clearing still determines when money becomes withdrawable.
Cards and Apple Pay: how much?
A 3% deposit fee. A $100 deposit adds a $3 charge before trading. That cost can exceed a small saving in odds, particularly if you fund repeatedly. Check the final funding total before confirming.
Can you deposit crypto?
Coinflow accepts USDC and USDT stablecoins. NoVig adds no deposit fee; network costs are separate. Each request uses a one-time address valid for 60 minutes. Match the requested token, network and amount, and wait for blockchain confirmation.
Which balance can you withdraw?
Use the amount available on the Withdraw screen. Portfolio includes wallet cash, open-position value and Trade Credits. A deposit still clearing can also reduce the cash available for withdrawal. A portfolio total is therefore not the amount you can send to your bank.
How long should you allow to get paid?
What is the published processing window?
Manual reviews usually take 24 hours, with 24–48 hours allowed during busy periods. Payment-provider processing follows. NoVig says support cannot expedite that review; contact it if the request remains unprocessed after 48 hours. Keep the withdrawal reference and request time.
Do you have to bet the deposit first?
No trading requirement applies to an ordinary cash deposit. The money must clear and be available, with verification completed. Withdrawals start at $10 through eligible bank, debit-card or Venmo methods. Confirm your usable withdrawal route before committing a substantial balance.
How do you get help when something goes wrong?
Use in-app chat or [email protected]. Several recent withdrawal complaints describe inconsistent support explanations. Send the order or payment reference, amount and timestamp, and ask which check remains outstanding. That gives the next reply something concrete to resolve.
How do you dispute a result?
Ask for a human in chat. Supply the order ID, event, selection and the official result you believe applies. NoVig publishes a 24–48-hour dispute-response window. Keep the contract wording as well as the score.
How do you get your transaction history?
Open Account → Transactions. For a detailed trading-history export, request it through chat; the published turnaround is 1–2 business days. Save the export with your own deposit, fee and withdrawal records.
Can you set deposit and trading limits?
Yes: daily, weekly and monthly caps under Account → Trading Limits. Wait for the email confirming that the limit is active. The settings cannot be changed for 24 hours after being set.
Can you take a break?
Timeouts run from one day to six months. They block account access and cannot be shortened once activated. Read the duration before confirming so you understand when access will return.
Which alternative is a better fit for you?
Choose by the feature you actually need. A broader event catalogue or an available parlay exit is a concrete reason to compare another account. Use Book vs Market to check available prices for matching selections.
Kalshi
Choose it for sports alongside politics, economics, weather and other events. It is the more relevant alternative when your next trade is not about a game. Compare the contract wording and final cost for the particular selection; the broader catalogue alone does not establish a better price.
FanDuel Sportsbook
Compare it if an early parlay cash-out option matters. FanDuel offers Cash Out on selected tickets, including eligible multiples, subject to availability and acceptance. The option is conditional, so check the ticket. You need access to FanDuel Sportsbook in your state.

Should you open a NoVig account?
Put NoVig on your shortlist for pregame singles and decide on the actual price. That recommendation follows the useful fee structure and the positive pricing reports. Live-trade complaints, restricted early exits and uneven withdrawal experiences are reasons to inspect the details before making it your main betting account.
Find a selection you already intend to bet in Book vs Market. Compare the available returns, then check NoVig’s price, fees and settlement wording. Open the account because that comparison gives you a useful option, rather than assuming the name guarantees the best deal.
NoVig FAQs
Six final answers to common account and trading questions.
Is NoVig still a sweepstakes app?
No. The regulated exchange launched August 4, 2026 and uses US dollars. Older instructions about buying Novig Coins or redeeming Novig Cash describe the retired product.
Does “NoVig” mean every trade is free?
No. Pregame individual-game singles have no trading fee. Live taker trades, many futures and parlays carry charges. Card and Apple Pay deposits also cost 3%.
Can you cash out a NoVig parlay?
No. Early selling is unavailable for parlays. It is limited to eligible straight positions with an available quote, and Trade Credit positions are excluded.
Does a player finishing exactly on “X+” win?
Yes. “X+” means X or more. A player finishing on exactly 20 satisfies a 20+ selection; it is not a push.
Why is my withdrawable amount below my Portfolio total?
Portfolio includes more than cash. Open positions and promotional credits count toward that total. Pending deposit clearing and account checks also affect the amount shown as available to withdraw.
Will a scratched player automatically get my money back?
No. The contract’s settlement rules control. Fair Value Settlement uses an assessed value before the disruption, which can be above or below your purchase price. Check participation rules before buying.
