Fanatics Markets is most appealing if you want a sports-focused prediction app and already use FanCash. Game lines, player selections and Combos give it a familiar starting point. Limit orders and its expanding web interface add useful control, but the final trade cost and settlement terms should decide where you place each pick.
Start with Book vs Market to compare available prices for your exact selection and stake. This review uses current US account rules, product updates and identifiable customer reports. It explains what Fanatics offers, what it charges and what happens when you want to sell or withdraw.
What should you know before joining Fanatics Markets?
These six answers cover trust, relevant markets, the actual cost, selling, settlement and getting your money back.
Is Fanatics Markets a legitimate operator?
Yes. Morton St. Trading Investments, LLC, trading as Fanatics Markets, is a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant and NFA member. Collateral held for exchange trades is separated from company money. Its agreement also permits cash transfers to affiliate accounts without those protections. Neither account has FDIC or SIPC insurance; insolvency can still cause loss.
Does it have the markets you want?
Sports include game winners, spreads, totals, player markets, live trading and eligible Combos. Politics, economics, crypto and culture give it uses beyond sports. Fanatics currently lists access in 22 states and four US territories; a category listing does not guarantee every selection at your location.
What does a trade really cost?
Buying 100 contracts at 50¢ costs $52, including $2 in fees. A normal $100 winning settlement leaves $48 profit. The quoted contract price alone understates the amount spent.
Can you sell before the result?
Yes, while the market is open and a buyer is available. Your sale price can be above or below your entry price. Low liquidity, a trading pause or an unsupported physical location can prevent an exit. A displayed position value is not a guaranteed cash-out amount.
Who decides the result and payout?
Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, the exchange behind the contracts, supplies the settlement rules. A normal correct binary contract pays $1; an incorrect one pays $0. Canceled-event settlement can return less than you paid, so cancellation does not guarantee your stake back.
How long do withdrawals take?
Published estimates are 3–5 business days for online banking and 2–3 for debit cards, PayPal or Venmo. Those are delivery estimates, separate from event settlement and account checks. Apple Pay cannot receive withdrawals.
Is Fanatics Markets worth opening an account with?
Yes, especially for bettors already using the Fanatics sportsbooks who value its selection, order controls and Fanatics rewards. Fanatics is a trusted sportsbook, and Fanatics Markets has been integrated seamlessly to create an experience we found smooth and intuitive.
Pass if your priority is low-cost, frequent trading. For that reader, trading costs outweigh the reward appeal. We also do not recommend opening an account solely for the welcome offer: FanCash cannot be withdrawn as cash. Choose Fanatics because you will use both its sports markets and its rewards.
Where do other providers have an advantage?
Compare the trade you actually want, including the quantity you can buy at that price. The fee examples hold price and contract count constant. They are hypothetical comparisons, not simultaneous live quotes for the same available selection.
| Feature | Providers | Our assessment |
|---|---|---|
| Pregame sports singles | NoVig charges no trading fee on pregame individual-game singles. At the same executable price, that is a cost advantage over a charged Fanatics purchase. Live, futures and parlay fees differ. Check NoVig’s markets. | |
| Low-priced contracts | On 100 contracts priced at 10¢, Kalshi’s standard taker fee is $0.63, versus $1.60 at Fanatics. Kalshi’s market-specific multipliers can change the comparison. Compare Kalshi directly. | |
| Using existing crypto | Crypto.com offers crypto-to-USD conversion to fund eligible prediction trades, alongside its USD Cash Account. That can suit an existing crypto customer. Shared exchange infrastructure does not give the two retail products identical fees, rewards or banking. Visit Crypto.com. |
What is the app and website like to use?
Markets is available within the Fanatics Sports & Casino app, using your Fanatics ONE login. Tap the Fanatics logo to switch between the products available at your location. On the website, the October 29 update adds Multi View in beta for up to 20 markets, with trading from the panels. The app also supports a multiplier price display.
Markets displays its own cash balance; FanCash can work across eligible Fanatics products. Check which product receives your deposit. Separately, the Markets customer agreement permits transfers to affiliate accounts, so a separate balance on screen does not establish where every dollar is held.
Who can open an account, and where can you trade?
You must be a US resident aged 21 or older and pass identity and location checks. An existing Fanatics login does not remove the Markets account requirements. The operator’s published access list is the practical starting point; it does not establish that every possible contract is permitted everywhere on it.
Which states and territories are currently listed?
Alabama, Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Utah. The four territories are American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. These are Fanatics’ published locations, not an independent state-law determination.
What happens if you travel to an unsupported state?
You cannot buy more contracts or sell existing positions there. An open trade therefore needs a travel plan if you expect to exit before settlement. Viewing, depositing or withdrawing may remain available elsewhere in the US. Our state guide explains the distinction between provider access and broader availability.
What do actual customers like and complain about?
The useful reports concern the interface, payout delivery and promotion handling. App Store reviewer fupagunt praised the simple layout and the option to trade Oscars selections alongside sports. The listing dates that review February 6 without displaying a year. It is an individual preference, not a usability test by SportsIntensity.
A Reddit thread specifically about Fanatics Markets also contains a successful withdrawal report: BurkeTheKilla said their first withdrawal arrived the same day. That March 15, 2026 account predates the current integrated app. It documents one completed payout, but does not establish today’s normal processing time.
What is the clearest recent promotion complaint?
A customer said a trade appeared eligible for a match but was rejected over the time-zone cutoff. Google Play reviewer Chase’s updated October 13, 2026 account says support followed up without awarding the reward. The full trade timestamp and account terms are not visible, so the report does not prove that Fanatics breached the offer.
Have users reported problems getting into markets?
Yes. Mark Thomas’s July 18, 2026 Google Play review describes loading and location-service errors in Florida. The reviewer says permissions were enabled and no VPN was used. Fanatics invited a support inquiry; the public exchange shows no verified resolution. This older report does not establish the current app’s failure rate.
How much control do you have over a trade?
Limit orders set your chosen price; Price Tolerance sets how much movement you will accept. They solve different problems. Before confirming, distinguish the price per contract, the number of contracts and the total order amount. A change of a few cents per contract becomes more significant across a larger position.
Can you choose the maximum purchase price?
Yes. Select Limit on the order slip and enter your price and quantity. A buy limit at 40¢ can fill at 40¢ or less. If no matching trade is available, it can remain unfilled; you can cancel the unfilled order. Reaching the displayed price does not promise that your entire quantity executes.
What does Price Tolerance allow?
The setting permits 1–10¢ of price movement per contract on market orders. With 100 contracts, a 5¢ tolerance can allow $5 of additional purchase cost before fees. It is permission to accept a changed price, not a guarantee of execution. Use the amount you are comfortable paying across the whole order.
Markets, settlement and the real cost
Which markets make the account useful?
Sports are the main attraction, with non-sports events extending the catalogue. The useful comparison is the exact line, period and side you want to trade. A provider having an NBA menu does not establish that it has your particular player selection at a usable price.
Can you trade ordinary sports selections?
Yes: game winners, spreads, totals and shorter periods appear in the menus. Football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf and esports are among the sports listed. NFL menus include game, half and quarter markets. Match the period as well as the team when comparing another provider.
How useful are the player markets?
The selection goes beyond team winners. Basketball menus include points, rebounds, assists, made threes and combined points-rebounds-assists. Football includes passing, rushing and receiving selections; hockey includes shots, goals, assists and saves. Availability depends on the fixture, so check the specific player and line before funding.
How many picks can you put in a Combo?
Up to 15 eligible legs on app and web. The published maximum payout is $10,000 per Combo order. The builder determines which selections can be combined; a listed single is not automatically compatible with every other pick. Check the final quote for the complete combination.
What can you trade beyond sports?
Politics, economics, crypto, culture and company-related events appear in the catalogue. Read the exact question and observation time. A contract on a crypto price answers a defined event question; it does not place that cryptocurrency in your account. Non-sports access still follows the product’s eligibility checks.
Which settlement rules can change what you receive?
The contract’s Rules panel and specified result source decide settlement. Fanatics’ displayed live scores are informational and can be delayed. They do not replace the exchange’s official outcome process. The differences below matter even when two providers display similar-looking selections.
Does a canceled event return your purchase price?
Not automatically. Fanatics’ sports rules describe settlement at a volume-weighted average price, or VWAP. That calculation uses traded prices and can be above or below your entry. If 100 contracts bought at 65¢ settle at an illustrative 40¢, the gross credit is $40 against $65 spent on contracts, before fee treatment.
What happens to a canceled or tied Combo leg?
Each leg receives a settlement value, and those values are multiplied. A three-leg Combo settling at 0.40, 1 and 1 pays 40¢ per contract: $40 for 100 contracts. The 0.40 is an example, not a fixed cancellation value. An outright losing leg makes the Combo worth zero; otherwise it stays open until the remaining legs resolve.
Does an injury automatically void a player trade?
No. Participation requirements differ by sport and contract. Under the linked CDNA soccer rules, a player who never enters triggers canceled-event treatment. Once the player appears, even briefly, official final statistics apply despite a later injury or ejection. Do not assume a sportsbook injury benefit applies to the Markets contract.
Does overtime count in football?
CDNA’s full-game and second-half football rules include overtime unless otherwise specified; fourth-quarter markets exclude it. An overtime touchdown can therefore change a game or second-half result without changing the fourth-quarter result. Confirm the period and any exception in your selection’s rules.
A Combo quote and a Combo settlement are separate calculations. The quoted purchase price comes through the exchange’s request-for-quote process. Multiplying the individual purchase prices does not recreate that quote. For comparisons with conventional parlays, see our prediction markets vs sportsbooks guide.
What do buying and selling cost after fees?
Matched buys and sells cost 2¢ per contract at 20–80¢. Fees round up per order.
Selling those 100 contracts at 60¢ returns $58 after $2 fees: $6 profit on their $52 cost.
Can rounding matter on a small order?
Yes. One 1¢ contract costs 2¢ after rounding; fees aggregate before the order is rounded.
Can contract prices move by less than a cent?
Yes, on all Combos and selected singles. The October update introduces 0.1¢ increments below 10¢ and above 90¢; the middle range retains whole-cent increments. Finer price steps do not remove trading costs. The final order total remains the figure to compare.
Check the return with Book vs Market
Find your event, select your exact pick and compare available providers for the same stake. Then check Fanatics’ final order against those alternatives. Match the line, period and settlement terms, and include any charges shown on the ticket. A higher headline payout is useful only when the comparison covers the same outcome.
Funding, withdrawals and account help
How does the current welcome offer work?
New Markets customers choose either up to $150 FanCash over 14 days or $500 FanCash for $10,000 in qualifying cash trades within seven days. The current registration campaigns end November 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. These rewards are FanCash, not a withdrawable signup payment.
Your choice at registration is final. You cannot switch to the better-paying option afterward or combine a welcome offer with a referral reward. Previous Fanatics Markets introducing-broker customers are excluded. Save the offer attached to your account rather than relying on an older advertisement.
What earns the up-to-$150 reward?
Your first trade each offer day is matched up to that day’s cap if its contract price is 90¢ or less. Daily caps are $2.50 on days 1–3 and $5 on days 4–6; then $7.50, $10, $12.50, $15, $17.50, $20, $20 and $25. Reaching every cap totals $150.
What earns the $500 alternative?
$10,000 of cumulative qualifying cash trades within seven days, priced at 70¢ or less. That is trading volume, not a deposit requirement. Assess the costs of the activity you already intend to undertake; the larger reward alone does not make the required trading worthwhile.
Using the offer and your FanCash
When does your personal offer window start?
When registration and identity verification are complete. The personal window can run beyond the campaign closing date. Fanatics’ server clock controls eligibility; use your account’s offer counter and cutoff rather than assuming your local midnight resets the day.
What can you do with FanCash?
Use eligible FanCash for future Markets trades or other supported Fanatics redemptions. It can be useful if you already spend within Fanatics. You cannot withdraw the reward itself to your bank account, and redemption rules depend on the product.
Does FanCash expire?
Yes. Promotional FanCash generally expires after seven days unless its specific offer sets a different period. Ordinary earned FanCash follows a separate inactivity rule. Check the expiry attached to each reward; trading again does not extend a promotional expiry.
Does every trade earn the same reward rate?
No. Markets’ earning rate varies with the contract price and applicable offer. Check the displayed reward on your selection. FanCash and Fanatics ONE Tier Points serve different purposes; a Tier Point earning rate is not a cash rebate percentage.
How do you fund the account and withdraw?
Choose the payment route with both the deposit and withdrawal in mind. A method that accepts money does not necessarily send it back. Also distinguish your open positions, cash available in Markets and FanCash: only the applicable available cash balance can fund a cash withdrawal.
Which deposit route costs least?
ACH deposits are free. Debit-card and Apple Pay deposits can cost up to 2%; PayPal and Venmo deposits can also carry up to 2%. The cashier discloses any charge before confirmation. A funding fee is additional to the cost of your trades.
Which methods can receive withdrawals?
Online banking, debit cards, PayPal and Venmo are listed. Debit, PayPal and Venmo must first have been used for a deposit and saved. With no saved payment method, use online banking. Apple Pay is excluded.
Are withdrawals free, and what about wires?
Fanatics lists no payment-method withdrawal fee. Wire minimums: $1,000 in, $10,000 out. Fanatics adds no wire-deposit charge; banks can charge.
Where do you track a payment?
Open Account → Balance and select the withdrawal transaction. The published method-specific delivery estimate is not a promise that funds arrive immediately after a winning event. Record the request date, destination and transaction reference if you need support to investigate.
Two checks before you leave money in the account
What information does verification require?
Expect your legal identity, birth date, residential address and Social Security number. Fanatics can request additional documents, so account creation is not a promise of instant approval. Complete any requested checks through the account’s secure process before relying on a trade or withdrawal.
Can scheduled maintenance block a sale?
Yes. Fanatics publishes a Saturday maintenance window from 4–5 a.m. Eastern. Trading is unavailable and existing positions remain open during that period. Separately, an individual market can close or pause under its own rules. Plan an intended early exit around both kinds of interruption.
How do you get help with a trade, reward or payment?
Use Contact Support in the app, the support form or [email protected]. The published reply expectation is 24–48 hours. That is not an immediate-resolution guarantee, so an urgent exit still depends on the market and your available account controls.
What should a useful support request include?
The transaction ID and the specific rule or payment you need explained. For a reward, add the enrolled offer, qualifying trade and timestamp. For settlement, include the contract wording and credited value. For a withdrawal, include its reference and destination. Keep the case in one thread so the history stays together.
Can you set deposit or session limits?
Yes. Deposit limits can be daily, weekly or monthly, and session limits are available. Adding or reducing a restriction takes effect immediately. Increasing or removing it takes 48 hours. These controls manage access or funding; they do not change how an existing contract settles.
Can you close positions during a timeout?
Yes. The dedicated risk policy permits manual closure of existing positions during a 3–365-day timeout. You cannot undo the chosen timeout. Normal location, market and buyer-availability restrictions still affect a sale; the permission is not a guaranteed exit price.
How is self-exclusion different?
It lasts at least one year and blocks account access. The policy says remaining funds are returned and open positions are automatically closed. Closing positions can realize a loss. This treatment differs from a timeout, so read the chosen control’s effect on your open trades before confirming it.
Which alternatives deserve a place on your shortlist?
NoVig is a useful sports-single comparison; Kalshi is useful for comparing trading costs and order choices. Use Book vs Market for available prices, then check each provider’s final ticket. A cheaper fee only improves the deal when the contract, price and available quantity also suit your trade.
NoVig
Consider it if pregame individual-game singles make up most of your activity. Its fee treatment gives that bettor a concrete reason to compare. Live trades, futures and parlays need their own calculation. Check the amount available at your chosen price before treating a displayed quote as the cost of the entire order.
Kalshi
Consider it if you want to compare the cost of immediately matched and resting orders. Kalshi’s default maker fee is zero, with specified market exceptions. Its standard taker formula also differs from Fanatics’ schedule. A limit order can match immediately, so the order label alone does not establish the charge.
Should you open a Fanatics Markets account?
Fanatics Markets deserves consideration for sports selection, price controls and useful rewards within an existing Fanatics account. The decision gets simpler once you identify your exact selection, compare its total cost and confirm how you would exit and withdraw. The most actionable customer complaints concern offer eligibility and account access; they support checking those details, not a blanket reliability score.
Find the event in Book vs Market, choose the precise outcome and compare available returns. Then check Fanatics’ order, settlement rules and payment route. Keep FanCash’s value separate from cash profit when deciding which provider gives you the better deal.

Fanatics Markets FAQs
Six final answers to common US account and trading questions.
Is Fanatics Markets available in California, Texas and Florida?
Yes. All three appear on Fanatics’ current access list. You must meet the age and identity requirements and be physically in a supported location to trade. That includes selling an existing position.
Does it use the same cash balance as Fanatics Sportsbook?
Markets shows a separate cash balance. A shared login and eligible FanCash do not make the two displayed cash balances interchangeable. Select the intended product before depositing.
What is the maximum Combo size?
Up to 15 eligible legs on app or web. The builder controls which picks work together. A canceled leg receives its own settlement value rather than automatically being removed like a conventional voided parlay leg.
Do canceled games guarantee your money back?
No. Settlement can be above or below your purchase price. Check the contract’s cancellation rule and the actual settlement value before treating a canceled event as a refund.
Can you withdraw to Apple Pay?
No. The withdrawal guide lists online banking and eligible saved debit-card, PayPal and Venmo methods. A successful Apple Pay deposit does not establish a withdrawal route back to Apple Pay.
Can you withdraw welcome FanCash as cash?
No. FanCash is a reward used for eligible redemptions. The cash value you can withdraw depends on your available cash balance. Check the reward’s specific redemption terms and expiry before deciding what it is worth to you.
