Betting Max/Min Requirements: The Racebook has a $1 minimum and limits payouts to $20,000 per race. The mimimum and maximum bets for both the Sportsbook and the Casino are $5 to $10,000 online. Sportsbook bets by phone carry a $50 fee on weekdays, and a $100 fee on weekends, so it’s best to bet online.

Payouts: Betus has a maximum daily payout limit of $5,000 and pays via Electronic Money Transfer, or check sent by FedEx. Electronic Money Transfers and FedEx withdrawal requests made before 10am EST, Monday – Friday will be processed same-day for payout approval. Delivery is usually between 7-10 business days. Account Set-Up/Transfer Procedures: This is one area where Betus has a clear advantage over many of its competitors. Deposits to open or reload an account may be done in all the normal ways, including Money Transfers. But the big edge for Betus is that bettors can also fund, and re-load their accounts by credit card. And it can be done two ways: by phone, or online.

Wrap-Up: Betus.com has a lot going for it. The site is easy to navigate and the graphics are good. And since it was founded in 1993, it ranks among the most established online wagering venues. The Sportsbook has an extensive menu, and a number of ways to bet. The Racebook equally so, while the Casino and Poker Room offer wagering on standard table and video games. Unfortunately software needs to be downloaded to play and wage for the Poker games. Even more unfortunately, the software only supports Microsoft PCs. If you have a Mac, you’re simply out of luck.

Service by phone is good, both setting up an account, as well as getting answers to questions. Getting questions answered by email is not as good. While the site indicates it will get back to you promptly, two questions we emailed were never answered. Betus.com has a fair program on incentives and bonuses, offering up to $500 to sign up (depending, of course, on how much you deposit). But one area that stands out is the fact that BetUs will take credit cards to set up pre-load your account. For Caribbean based online wagering sites, this is a rarity, and a very welcome feature for gamblers. It eliminates a lot of hassle and time.

Betus.com is certainly in the top tier on online betting sites, and should definitely be factored into the mix when searching for an online site.
